1. Strength Studio is not a 24 Hour Fitness or Gold's Gym.

Strength Studio is a smaller, more basic place, where progress is made and lives are improved. Erick Minor, owner and strength coach, and Chad Blake, strength coach, have more than 30 years of combined experience in personal and sports training. With 60% of the studio’s membership being fitness enthusiasts and the other 40% being athletes that are either working toward a career in professional sports or are already there, Minor and Blake partner with each client to drive individual progress.

2. "It's my job to train hard, but where I train and who I train with is my choice."

Recently, Scott Podsednik (who is currently signed with the Colorado Rockies) agreed to answer some questions for us regarding his experiences both as a professional baseball player and as one of Erick Minor’s clients. We appreciate Scott taking the time to do an in season interview, and everyone at DBC is looking forward to seeing him back on the training floor next off season.

3. Women like it here because we're focused on their fitness, not their outfits.

Many women have chosen Strength Studio as their fitness destination because they got tired of the stereotypical gym scene. Our female clients are motivated by being held accountable for the progress they make in their nutritional and strength conditioning programs. Further, they appreciate that the facility has clean, private amenities and that the atmosphere is respectful in every way.

4. "Erick and Chad have figured me out – it's scary but also very cool."

Ever heard of Darvis “Doc” Patton? If you like sports, and track and field in particular, he’s someone you need to pay attention to. Doc is a professional Track and Field athlete contracted with Adidas, and he’s been competing on a professional level since 2002. His list of career highlights is long- most recently he was a member of the relay team that brought home a gold medal at the 2007 World Championships, and in 2004 he was a member of the relay team that got silver at the Olympics. In 2003 he won a silver medal in the 200 meter sprint at the World Championships. And that’s just scratching the surface.

5. Strength Studio's facility was designed for performance. There's no neon here.

Influenced by collegiate and professional athletic training facilities, Dynamic Barbell Club provides a truly unique training environment. We utilize the most innovative tools and equipment in the industry. The use of unorthodox equipment allows our clients to build usable strength that will directly improve health and performance.
